There’s a special kind of madness reserved for those of us who pre-order highly anticipated technology. It’s a self-inflicted state of limbo, a purgatory paved with a terse order confirmation email and obsessively refreshed website checking for tracking pages that refuse to update. My current affliction? Waiting for a 44-pound box of pure potential, otherwise known as the eufyMake E1. My browser history is a testament to this condition: a sad loop of the eufyMake pre-order page, the Kickstarter updates, and many dozens of YouTube reviews from the lucky few who got early access.
